It was on our to do list this summer and i can safely say we will not be returning. My 7 month old was charged! Over fifty euro for the lot of us and that was before i spent another 15 euro on juices etc. Would consider going back because the kids loved it but charging for the adults was a real shocker. When i talked to all the other parents at one of the summer camps - they simply wont go. Shame really because it could be a wonderful place that families can enjoy without breaking the bank. Great place but they are taking the fun out of it by the ridiculous pricing structure.

hi there
i've just returned from a trip to imaginosity, myself and my 8 yr old son went and I have to say that I was a little let down by the place after all the great things I heard about it. Today i discovered that my son is too old now for it as he found all but 2 activities boring,. I think the admission fee for the parents is a joke even if the place is a charity, I did see younger children really loving the whole experience and I know my now teenage daughters would have loved the stage and dressing up and shopping area etc when they were younger but I do agree a little more interaction from the staff would be a benefit and if the cost was brought down a little and the adults free I'm quite sure business would boom !! I also think that larger families who might have a very active child and some quieter ones would enjoy the day more if there was a section where the children could use up some energy, I know it takes away from the art and imagination idea but i did see a family there and one child was just so active that his mam had to leave her other kids and run after him, maybe if there were a section with balls and soft padded floors etc for the active kids to burn off some energy either while their siblings play the quieter games or burn it off first so they can then play the other games that require the imagination, all in all it is a nice family day out(so long as the kids aren't hyper) and you don't mind the fee for the adults!

I have brought my young 5 year old son there 3 times now and have to say although he enjoys and plays with everything they have to offer as much as he can, we won’t and have never been in a hurry to go back. He will have just as much fun in other places & parks. The staff are indeed friendly when you enter the building, I feel, mainly as they charge you a fortune to get in.you would have to smile. I really feel that the place itself can’t justify the cover charge, I only have one child and I find paying for both him and myself €17:00 euros admission and then charged premium prices for teas, coffees, drinks & any food they have – it’s just not worth it. If you are bringing a few children then you better have the bucks to match.

I would think that if they charged less they would infact gain bigger business. More people would go back and more regularly….I would ! They could then put a few bob into bringing the place up a touch.. it is a bit worse for ware now.

But all in all it is a very nice place to visit (The odd time) and the activities are plentiful but the charge is and always has been way to expensive

I had to post this story as I just love the simplicity and innocence of it. It pretty much summarises the plot of most movies I've seen!

Myself and my friend brought our kids - a 3 yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy. They enjoyed it, we did too but I feel that charging us 8.50 each was a bit steep. Didn't find any staff in any of the areas until it was near the end of the 2hour stint where there was one girl trying to coax the kids into cleaning up the supermarket area by promising them jellies on the way out.. Overall great day was had but because of the cost we wouldn't hurry back.
